  • The A Pattern program is designed to assist guests in achieving their health goals. With a specialized training staff, serene surroundings, and an educational program designed to promote restoration, your achievements can be surprising. Your part is to be willing.
  • The health program is built around five pillars of overall well-being. They are:
  •  Fitness and relaxation
  • Nutrition
  • Education
  • Spiritual renewal
  • Close group camaraderie
  • While your particular level of success depends on you; the small group environment, combined with friendly and knowledgeable staff, become a catalyst that often brings out a strong will to succeed.
  •  Rundown of Our Weight Loss Program
  • Arrival/Check-In
  • Our program lasts for one week and begins upon check-in where you will be given a workbook describing our methods, activities, schedule of events, mealtimes, and a large section for taking notes.
  •  Guests are then able to check-in and unpack their belongings. On the day of arrival, each guest will be given a fitness assessment where weight and other fitness metrics are measured to give our staff an idea of fitness levels and attainable goals. Guests are then given a tour of the facility.
  •  Visitors are then invited to dinner, and afterwards, a welcome orientation is given providing guests with an introduction to the program, policies, and expectations. After the orientation, guests are encouraged to interact with each other or simply return to their room for an evening of relaxation.
  •  Weight Loss Program Highlights
  • Daily routines are tentative and may have some seasonal changes, but the core-concepts remain the same. During your stay with us, you will be introduced to a new lifestyle designed to help you to live a healthier and happier life.
  •  Once settled in, the week adheres to a schedule of daily routines where each of the pillars of our program are practiced daily by our guests.
  •  Fitness
  • Our program for fitness combines a mixture of cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and flexibility training. At A Pattern, we take your fitness seriously as part of a “New You” emerging from your stay. Your training will be challenging, fun, and rewarding. Just a few of the activities and classes guests may participate in include:
  •  Outdoor hiking
  • Stretching class
  • Cardio circuit
  • Nutrition
  • Multiple classes that address health facts and habits.
  •  Don’t think that because you’re at a weight loss resort the food is going to be distasteful. On the contrary, the food is one of the highlights of the week as we have delectable cuisine. If your health demands, there is a gluten free option. It is all dairy and lactose free, state of the art vegetarian cooking at its best. We are also able to accommodate diabetics and those with particular food allergies so long as it is communicated before your stay.
  •  Meals occur three times daily, tentatively at 7:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 6:30 pm.
  •  Education
  • Our goal at the Biggest Loser Resort is to not only provide you with an unforgettable experience, but also provide you with the tools necessary for success as you move forward. While here, you will learn about various components that contribute to human health, and how to apply these concepts to your daily life. Just a few of the areas of health and fitness you will learn about include:

  • When it comes to health and fitness, the mental component is as important to success as the physical component. At the retreat, your down time and relaxation is important to achieving your physical goals. Taking time to rejuvenate, study, and partake in relaxing spa treatments is highly encouraged. Classes are given on how to reduce stress and further understand the mental side of fitness.
  •  Group Camaraderie
  • One of the most important things to remember when planning your stay at the A Pattern Health Retreat, is that you will be in the company of people just like yourself. People that have struggled with health problems and are willing to make a step to change their lifestyle for the better.
  •  It is highly encouraged to interact with others. Through a since of togetherness, guests at the retreat are more likely to find motivation, comfort, and a sense of belonging—allowing them to focus on their goals, helping others with theirs, and in the end, have more success. We don't accept monkeys... or anyone who's not serious or willing to put their money where their mouth is. Don't apply if you don't understand that it takes money and time to loss weight the right way. We know that you loss the weight.

Experience trumps all. If you aren't coachable, then we don't want you... period. Our doctors and staff and medical professionals do not have the time to play games.
